The claim He made Himself.
You don't need to read the Bible to know Jesus existed — even secular historians agree on that much. What you might not know is the specific claim He made about Himself. It's direct, and it isn't soft.
Here's the claim. He made it Himself:
I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.— John 14:6
Either Jesus was telling the truth — and there's a way through to God that He says runs only through Him. Or He wasn't, and the whole religion built on Him is a lie. There's no soft version of it.
He didn't say a way. He said the way.
This site exists for people willing to find out which. He didn't ask you to have your beliefs sorted first. He didn't ask for certainty. He said: come.
You don't need to go to a church to do that. You don't need to talk to God through someone else. You can talk to Him directly, and the rest of this page is about how.
If He was telling the truth, there's one move you haven't made. If He wasn't, you've lost four minutes.
A prayer when nothing else has worked.
This isn't magic, and it isn't a transaction. It's the moment you stop and say to Jesus: I've tried everything else. I'm taking You at Your word.
You don't need certainty to pray it. You don't need your beliefs sorted. You don't even need to feel anything. You need to be willing to find out.

Jesus, I've tried everything. Nothing else has reached the bottom. I've broken things I can't fix. I've fallen short of who I'm meant to be. Forgive me. You said You were the way, the truth and the life. You proved it by dying for me and rising again. I'm taking You at Your word. If You're real, walk me through. If You're the truth, show me. If You're the life, show me what that means — to live a life with You, even in the situation I'm in right now. From here, I want to follow You. Don't let this prayer fade. Make it a real change — a new life with You. Open new doors for me. Walk with me. Put me on the right path. In Jesus' name, Amen.

What does “meet someone locally” actually involve?
An Australian Christian near you, somewhere that suits you both. Coffee, a walk, a call. You see who you would be meeting before you commit to anything. Most people start with an anonymous chat and only move to meeting in person later, if they want to.
Is Let’s Pray a church?
No. Let’s Pray is an initiative of SeeSalt Ltd, an ACNC-registered Australian charity. We work with churches around the country, but this exists for people who want to work out Jesus without first having to work out churches.
What if I'm not sure I want any of this?
Then this is the right page. Nobody here is talking you into anything. Read what Jesus said. Pray the prayer if you mean it. Talk to someone if you want to. Or close the tab — there's no follow-up if you walk away.
I've tried God before and He didn't show up.
That's worth a real conversation, not a paragraph. Sometimes "God didn't show up" means the God being prayed to wasn't the actual Jesus, and the answer wanted wasn't the one He gives. Sometimes it means a religious community failed you. Sometimes it means something else. Bring the full version to a real person — there will be space for it.
